Air Attacks on Japanese supply lines in Burma.
Allied Air forces are playing an important part in the Burma fighting. Japanese supply lines are constantly hammered from the air. Recently US heavy bombers attacked an important rail and road bridge at Myitnge, near Madaley. An RAF reconnaissance photograph taken after the attack shows results of the accurate bombing of the US planes. One span of the bridge has fallen into the river, severing road and rail communications between Mandaley and Rangoon.
