The trial run marks the end of a project which began eight years ago when bills company, Washington Sheet Metal Works, moved to its new factory on the Hartburn Estate.
Working from original drawings, 55 year old Bill, pictured with the model at his works, started from scratch to build the quarter life size locomotive
