Men of the Royal Corps of Signals who provided the land communications required to

Men of the Royal Corps of Signals who provided the land communications required to co-ordinate the air offensive which made possible the Allied victory in Burma.
In units known as Air formation signal companies, British and Indian signalmen have laid the land lines which provide inter-communication between airstrips and the widely dispersed controlling units of the Air Force, now in Rangoon.
After two seasons of Burma warfare, , these men have little time to rest for the lull in
warfare provides badly needed breathing space to prepare for the stepping up of air
operations on further targets.
From Rangoon, men of the formation are laying the network which will form an integral part of the RAF organisation.
