Davies was sacked by Daily Mirror editor Richard Stott, but he lost his claim for unfair dismissal against the newspaper after a three-day hearing in London. Nick Davies was dismissed in relation to alleged visits to an American arms dealer, Ben Kaufman, in Ohio in 1985. 14th September 1992
