J/C Joan Scott-Smith of Taymuilt, Argyll, is one of 8 officers chosen for Regiment duties. She has been P.S.O. to D.A.T.S. and has also served as P.A. to the Inspector of A.T.S. so that she had a wide knowledge of the Service. She is 27. J/C Allison Tennant of Cranbrook, Kent, is one of the 8 officers chosen for regimental duties. She was educated at the London School of Economics and the Sarbonne University, Paris. Front Row Sub.Yvonne Odie, another Londoner will do regimental duties. J/CXenia Richmond-Paton of Blandford, Dorset, who will also do regimental duties, had been on the instructional staff of the Junior Officer School. She is 27 and was born in Mid-Lothian. J/C Molly Sharland of Exeter, is one of the 8 officers who have been chosen for Regiment duties. She is 30 and was born at Fareham, Hants. Before joining the ATS she was a social secretary to an MPs wife and she has also run a home-made cake shop. J/C Santa Welch of Banstead, Surrey, aged 30 will also to regimental duties.
