Framed Print of Make-up girl Hilary Steinberg puts finishing touches to Susan Strank

Make-up girl Hilary Steinberg puts finishing touches to Susan Stranks hair before she appears on the screen, riding side saddle in her Georgian riding gear. Susan is one of the presenters of Magpie'. For the first time since 1829 the Commissioner of Mounted Police has ceded his exclusive prerogative to name the horses bought for Imber Court, the Metropolitan Police Mounted Branch Training Establishment. The viewers of Thames Televisions Magpie programme were asked to suggest names for the six horses which have been bought recently by Imber Court. 5th May 1970. © Mirrorpix
