Putting their heads together during a Scouts sponsored walk
Putting their heads together during a Scouts sponsored walk and quiz are members of the 9th Crosland Hill scout group. The 15-kilometer walk was held by the Huddersfield South-West District section. The groups were hoping to raise money as part of their Job Week fundraising attempts. Along the route were sets of questions set by each of the groups. The winners were the Cobra patrol of the 4th Golcar group, who will receive a shield. The event was organised by the assistant commissioner for the area, Mr Jim Hunter. Eighty boys from 10 Scout groups took part. 13th April 1985
