Framed Print of Hungerford Tutti-Mens Hocktide privilege. The right to kiss the prettiest girls of

Hungerford Tutti-Mens Hocktide privilege. The right to kiss the prettiest girls of the town was claimed by the Tutti-Men of Hungerford, Berkshire, during the Annual Hocktide Festival. After the Hocktide Court, the Tutti-Men go to collect their dues and at every house where they are refused the penny, they may claim a kiss from the prettiest girl on the premises. Tutti-Men kissing girls at the top of a ladder, which they use to get to people in upstairs rooms. 30th April 1946 P029066. © Mirrorpix
