Mrs. Bamford decree for McAvoys wife. Mrs. Eliza Bamford, wife of Mr. Joseph Bamford (Jock McAvoy, the boxer), was granted a decree nisi in the Divorce Court. The allegation of adultery with a women named Joan Lye at two London hotels was not denied.
