The German Imperial Navy Battleship SMS Helgoland Circa 1918.
The SMS Helgoland was commissioned in to the German Navy on 23rd July 1911. She saw limited action against both the Royal Navy in the North Sea and the Imperial Russian Navy in the Baltic. She was present at the Battle of Jutland and was hit by one shell causing minor damage.
At the end of the war she was ceded to Great Britain as reparations and broken up for scrap in the early 1920s
