Lieutenant Commander G. R. Cousins of the Royal Navy (in front of boat)

Lieutenant Commander G. R. Cousins of the Royal Navy (in front of boat), today inspected the Rhyl lifeboat.
This boat is the only one of its kind in the world and is un-capsizable.
It is known as the banana boat", because of itOs unusual shape, that of 2 banana-shaped hulls, meeting at each end, with a grating in between.
