It was held at Morden Hall Park, Surrey, and was attended by the stars of the day from Stage and Screen, where fans and readers of The Sunday Pictorial got to meet their idols. All for charity.

Lady 2nd from the right is actor Rene Ray [in the black dress}
Lady far right is Patricia Plunkett (in boater style hat and patterned dress with pearl neckless.)
For the men, 2nd from the left is actor Richard Attenborough.
