After their successful first tour of America including their famous appearance on The Ed Sullivan TV Show, The Beatles returned to London Airport at 8.10am, to be greeted by crowds of screaming fans at London Heathrow Airport.
On the tarmac, Paul McCartney leads the group holding flowers and waving, with John Lennon and George Harrison behind, amongst the entourage and press photographers.
Ringo Starr is not visible in this frame, though its likely he is just behind John Lennon.
