The event is Britains biggest ever profession track cycling day, the 1977 Glenryck Cup at Eastway Cycling Track, Lee Valley near Stratford, London on Saturday 11th June. The winner was West German Dietrich Thurau. 2nd was Britains Sid Barras and third was Eddy Merckx of Belgium.
