Four lion cubs, born to Kim and Singh on the 10th June 1971 met visitors for the first

Four lion cubs, born to Kim and Singh on the 10th June 1971 met visitors for the first time on the lawn at London Zoo.
The cubs, one male and three females have been named Leon, Leonie, Lottie and Liza. and until their appearance they have been living with their mother Kim, in a den in the Lion House.
Kim is a very good mother, and has previously reared one litter of two cubs, one litter of four cubs, and two litters of five cubs. This us therefore her fifth litter, and the cubs on show are her 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th offspring.
Kim came to the Zoo in November 1960 at the age of four months, and Singh in 1961 at the age of two years. Left to right Cubs Leon, Leonie, Lottie and Liza. London, 4th August 1971Four lion cubs, born to Kim and Singh on the 10th June 1971 met visitors for the first time on the lawn at London Zoo.
