Tired of seeing homegrown fruit and vegetables going to waste
Tired of seeing homegrown fruit and vegetables going to waste, volunteer members of the Chalfont, St. Giles Womens Institute are running this stall, open to all comers. Women with surplus produce take it to the stall, where housewives without gardens buy it eagerly. Institute members club together to buy canning machinery to keep some of the fruit for winter.
