Disabled and special needs pupils were being offered a chance to savour aviation history by sampling a flight of the future.
Northumbrian Water was offering chance-of-a-lifetime flights in the airship to the youngsters as part of a publicity campaign.
The Skyship 600 airshjip was one of 15 airships built at an historic airship base at Cardington formerly the Royal Airship Works in Bedfordshire.
