Newcastle United player Andy Cole October 1993
Towards the end of the 1992/3 season Keegan began planning for life in the new world that was branded the Premiership. In March 1993 he splashed out £ 1.75m for the largely unknown England Under-21 striker Andy Cole. What an impact he was to have! Cole was to take the No. 9 shirt and score a record 41 goals for the club in his first full season
