This is the SS Harpagus completed by William Doxford, Sunderland, in November 1942.
On 19 August 1944, she was blown in two by a mine off Arromanches. The forepart sank. The aft section was eventually towed to Swan Hunter shipyard at Wallsend, River Tyne.
A new forepart was completed during May 1946 by Shipbuilding Corporation, Low Walker. It was towed to Wallsend to be joined to the aft section. On completion, the ship was renamed Treworlas. The image shows the new forepart being manoeuvred into position
