Youngsters of all ages, girls and boys line the bank, lying full length at the waters edge, with line, net, jam jars, tins and very quick hands to catch the minute tiddlers for the tiddler title of the Park. A good catch is three or four, because tiddlers get very little chance of living very long, owing to the fact that they are whipped out, and into jam jars as soon as they can be seen.
