Mr. Biagie Raymond a hair stylist and hat designer of Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, demonstrated in London the new style hat that he thinks is so revolutionary in design that he has patented the rights of his design. The, hat is a strip of spring wire about a foot and a half long by 3 inches wide, that can be dressed in various materials. The cost of these hats range from 5 to 14 guineas and is definitely for the ladies in the upper income bracket. As the wire base of the hat is so pliable it can be stretched in all manner of ways and can even be worn as a necklace or a decorative belt. April 1953 D1959-002
