It will be the first time that a boat of the RNLI has been exhibited at the Royal. Whilst the boat is ashore, emergency calls for service will be taken by the lifeboat stations at Cullercoats, Blyth and Sunderland.

46O09 long by 12O09 wide, weight 21 tons 15 cwt, 2 Ð 40 bhp Ferry VE4 engines.
Built by J.S.White as builderOs No. W 5395. DoT number 181718.
RNLI Official Number 852.
Cost £ 16, 367, paid for by the Tyneside Blitzed Lifeboat Fund.
1965 : Re-engined with 2 Ð 65 bhp Parsons Barracuda engines. Cabin added over cockpit area.
Launched 153 times, saving 140 lives.
1979 Ð 1983 : Transferred to the Reserve Fleet, launched 8 times without saving life.
Currently at Iron Wharf Boatyard, Faversham, Kent
