Young siblings Michael Briggs (aged 2) and older sister Christine (3

Young siblings Michael Briggs (aged 2) and older sister Christine (3) received toys when they visited an exhibition of toys held at Oxford Street, central London.
Their father, C.J. Briggs, an auxiliary fireman who volunteers for the Fire Service during the Battle of Britain, was severely injured by a High Explosive bomb in the docks of London during the blitz of September 1940 and died in hospital soon after.
They are picture with their mother Mrs A. Briggs.
