Picture shows: This was a wild donkey which after being captured became this Chance-Vought Corsair maintenance crews mascot. The " owner-driver" is Leading Seaman Robert Roe, from Huntingdon, Staffs, and he made the truck which " Daisey" pulls whilst the crew look on. Standing on the Chance-Vought Corsairs starboard wing is AM (O) Eric Hodgkinson, from Eltonbury, Lancs. The rest of the crew from left to right: AM (A) Eric Aburn, from Lancing, Sussex; AM (O) Frederick Spall, from Latchford; AM (A) Micheal Brannen, from Sunderland; AM (E) Joseph Harvey, from Highams Park, London; Able Seaman David Nicholas, from Blaeclydach, Rhonda, Glam; Able Seaman Wally Lane, from Farnham, Bucks.
