Canadians stationed at a lonely farmhouse have named the N. A. A. F
Canadians stationed at a lonely farmhouse have named the N.A.A.F.I Cripes Cafeteria because Mr. Cripes, the manager, has a variety of farmyard livestock which he keeps in his spare time. Bill, an old Gander, one of the oldest inhabitants, has become so attached to the troops that he has a habit of going through the sleeping quarters of the men early in the morning and pecks their toes to wake them up. Topsy the goat loves to have a romp and private Lourette is his particular pal and both of them have a butting match whilst the geese look on. Private Lourette and Topsy are pictured having a bit of fun. 3rd September 1943
