RAF Liberators of the Strategic Air Force, Eastern Air Command
RAF Liberators of the Strategic Air Force, Eastern Air Command, recently made a daylight attack on an important Japanese held railway station at Pak Nam Phau in Burma.
Military installations were hit and many fires were left burning. After they dropped high explosives and incendiary bombs on the target, some of the aircraft showered leaflets on the town.
Photo shows: Leaflets released from a Consolidated Liberator of No. 231 Group, falling to earth.
