British Royal Navy submarine HMS Talisman returns home to HMS Forth, Holy Loch in Scotland, after a period of very successful service in Mediterranean waters.
During her service she sank four enemy supply ships and a U-boat and fought a gun duel with an Italian destroyer.
Photo shows: Officers and men of the Talisman crew show off her achievements which were all recorded on her " jolly roger" success flag with special insignia recording her exploits.
