A hotel and annexe believed to house a German headquarters at Zolla, 25 miles north east of Trieste was recently hit.
Picture shows: The hotel and annexe at Zolla, smothered in smoke during the Beaufighter attack.
Half of the roof of the hotel (obscured by smoke on the left
of this picture) was blown off by the rocket projectiles and a salvo also hit the annexe.
Other German occupied buildings in the village were also seton fire.
