On 5th March 1945, Dr. Srdjan Budisavljevic, Ante Mandic and Dusan Sernec, the new regents of Yugoslavia with King Peter II in exile, were sworn in in a ceremony in the Green Room of the Parliament building in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
Officiating at the ceremony were the Catholic Bishop of Belgrade and metropolitan Josif, acting Patriarch of Yugoslavia.
The chiefs of the British, American and Russian military missions and Dr. Ivan Subasitch (now Foreign Minister of the Yugoslav Government) and members of the Presidium attended the ceremony.
