Newspaper correspondents nave recently visited one of the large ammunition depots in the country. Here they saw personnel handling ammunition of all sizes. The men responsible for loading ammunition on to railway trucks, handle several tons each per day. The depot had many miles of railway lines, its own signal system and railway company to operate it.
Ammunition from this depot is sent to all theatres of war including Russia.
Troops are trained under battle school conditions to defend the depot in an emergency.
Picture shows- One of the assault course obstacles is a flame barrage. Troops with fixed bayonets are seen rushing to attack through a flame barrage.
