RAF Heavies Strike in Malaya. In a round trip of nearly 2500 miles from bases in

RAF Heavies Strike in Malaya.
In a round trip of nearly 2500 miles from bases in India, RAF Liberators of Strategic Air Force, Eastern Air Command, smashed a 600 foot three span girder bridge at Ban-Tam-Kam on the Bangkok-Singapore railway. The bridge, 600 miles north of Singapore, had been hit before but the new strike has demolished it, denying the enemy a use of a vital supply link for their armies resisting in Lower Burma and Siam.
Photo shows a bomb exploding after hitting the centre of the bridge.
