New Soviet Decoration " The Order of the Patriotic War" 1st class will be awarded to all ranks of the Red Army, Red Navy troops of the Peoples Commissariat of Internal Affairs, and guerrilla detachments who display courage, staunchness and gallantry in fighting and (second class) to those who by their actions have contributed to the success of war operations.
The medal carried out in gold, red and white (1st class) and; silver, red and white (second class), bears the- words " Patriotic War" on a white band encircling the sickle and hammer.
