During the early days of the sever air raids on Malta, three of the defending Gladiator aircraft became famous. They were named OFaith, Hope and CharityO.
The latter two were destroyed by the enemy but
FaithO survived the raids. Recently Faith was officially presented to the people of Malta. The ceremony took place before a large crowd in the Palace Square. Sir Keith Park, the Air Officer in Command, Malta, handed " FaithO over to Sir George Borg, the Chief
Justice, who received it on behalf of the people of Malta.
