Men of the Maquis de l Ain et du Haut-Jura, the French partisans
Men of the Maquis de l Ain et du Haut-Jura, the French partisans, take over the town of Oyonnax near Geneva in defiance of the Vichy and German authorities, to hold a 11th November parade and memorial service in honour of French soldiers from World War I.
They took over the town of over 12000 inhabitants for around two hours while they held their Armistice service and placed a wreath on the war memorial.
