British boys for British farms. The Open Door to an Agricultural Career has been
British boys for British farms. The Open Door to an Agricultural Career has been considerably helped by a scheme run by the YMCA in co-operation with the Ministry of Agriculture, for boys between the ages of 14 and 17 and a half who are trained and equipped for a life on a farm. More than 4000 boys have already been trained under this scheme. The pictures were taken on Flint Hall Farm, Hambleden, Henley, which is one of the four farms run by the YMCA. Picture shows, boys bringing in the cows for milking. 31st January 1944
