Document signed on 4th May 1945 by Field Marshal Montgomery for the Allies, and by (amongst others) Major Friedel, [Staff Officer to General Kintiel]; Rear Admiral Wagner and General Admiral Von Freudenborg for Germany.

Germany surrendered to the allied forces on 8th May 1945, ending the war in Europe, which had been declared on 2nd September 1945.
