He is visiting his birth place, Bristol, to see his mother who is in a nursing home in Clifton, Bristol, Avon and North Somerset. Cary said, Shes getting on a bit in years now, then I suppose so am I'. He continued, I think I shall take a visit to the local panto or the Bristol Old Vic, and maybe have a cake with my relatives'.
Cary is pictured standing high up on the banks of the Avon Gorge and River Avon, with the Clifton Suspension Bridge in the background, which was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1864
Cary Grant was an English-born American actor, known as one of classic Hollywoods definitive leading men. He was known for his transatlantic accent, debonair demeanor, light-hearted approach to acting, and sense of comic timing.
Amongst his famous films are North by Northwest (1959), Notorious (1946), Only Angels Have Wings (1939). Alfred Hitchcocks Suspicion (1941) and To Catch a Thief (1955, another Alfred Hitchcock film)

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame. While we aim to keep sizing consistent, exact dimensions may vary slightly due to differences in print size or production requirements, which may result in a variation in the overall size (up to approximately 2.5cm (1"))
