***THIS IS A SLIGHT CROP FROM THE ORIGINAL ALSO IN THIS SET***
This performance, was the moment the term " Beatlemania" was sealed for good. It had been a Daily Mirror headline on 2nd November, but following The Royal Variety Performance on 4th November, in The Daily Mirror splashed the word, " Beatlemania" across page 16 and 17 of the 5th November issue.
At the show the group performed he Loves You, ill There Was You, rom Me To Youand wist and Shout.Just before their final number (" Twist and Shout" ) John Lennon said the now famous phrase, or our last number I like to ask your help. Would the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands? And the rest of you, if youl just rattle your jewellery.
