The men of the 29th Marine Commando Royal Artillery return from the Falklands
The men of the 29th Marine Commando Royal Artillery return from the Falklands. They wade ashore at Plymouth from the same landing craft used in their invasion of San Carlos Bay. The homecoming came as the assault ships Fearless and Intrepid headed toward Portsmouth. The ships made a temporary halt in Plymouth Sound so the commandos could return directly to their Plymouth barracks. 13th July 1982
