Rose Hill School, Tunbridge Wells, where Lord Baden-Powell was once a scholar
Rose Hill School, Tunbridge Wells, where Lord Baden-Powell was once a scholar, has a 58ft steamship on the lawn in the grounds. The Rose Hill School troop of sea scouts built it in five years, and it is almost completed. The headmaster, Mr R. Saunders-Johnson designed it. Baden-Powell has been aboard, and thinks it is a fine idea for sea scouts. 15th October 1932
