Workers posing with their lovingly restored Gloster Meteor as the 45 year old plane goes on public display at the Midland Air Museum at Coventry Airport, Baginton.
A team of nine workers have spent nearly 18 months bring ing the jet back to its former glory. Most of the structural work was completed last year but the restoration team, funded by the former Manpower Services Commission, has spent the last few months cleaning and painting the aircraft.
