A lovingly restored Seahawk Hawker jet fighter is checked over by workers at the city
A lovingly restored Seahawk Hawker jet fighter is checked over by workers at the city councils Edgwick Centre in Coventry before it makes its final journey across the city to take pride of place at the Midland Air Museum at Coventry Airport, Baginton.
A team of thirteen restorers have spent 12 months and £ 50, 000 bringing the jet back to the condition it was in 34 years previously when it left the Armstrong Whitworth plant at Baginton.
Inspecting the aircraft are left to right: Supervisor Grahama Gowling, Brian Nutt, George Devey and Paul Carringon-Porter.
