The occasion was a memorial service for American bandleader Duke Ellington who died recently. Many leading figures from the world of jazz took part in the service, including Cleo Laine and her husband, John Dankworth, harmonica Virtuoso Larry Adler, trumpeter Humphrey Lyttleton and singer Adelaide Hall. Cleo Laine is accompanied by Larry Adler at the service. 12th June 1974.
