City MP Roger Godsiff labelled the deal " utterly outrageous" after the £ 63, 000-a-day payment was revealed.
It comes weeks after city council leader Sir Albert Bore warned of 6, 000 more job losses amid cutbacks.
Labour MP Mr Godsiff said: " This seems to me to be an egregious misuse of Birmingham citizens public funds."
