Children from a Huddersfield school have raised a massive £ 4, 775 for the £ 10, 000 Jolene Kaye Appeal to pay for a life-saving heart operation for the Downs Syndrome baby from Dalton. Ten-year old Leonica Murphy and fellow pupils from St Josephs School, Dalton, are pictured presenting the cheque to Jolene and her parents, Mr and Mrs John Kaye. With them are Jolenes brother and sister, Emma, seven, and Ben, four, who are both pupils at St Joseph s. 10th November 1989
