Bomb damage in Liverpool during the Second World War. During a Merseyside bomb raid on the 12th and 13th of March the corner portion of the Engineering Laboratory of Liverpool University was severely damaged by a bomb. The Medical School and Laboratories of Pathology and Physiology were also severely damaged, roofs being demolished. The only people on duty were the members of the AFS and fire fighting services and no one was hurt with the exception of a night watchman who was slightly cut by flying glass. 13th March 1941.
