Visitors to Preston Park are being offered the chance to buy a piece of history. Two new shops have been opened in the Eaglescliffe museums period street, packed with a host of original gifts with a distinctly Victorian flavour. The drapers exhibit has been transformed into a real clothes shop where visitors can buy authentically designed Victorian clothes. The street also boasts a new gift shop specialising in Victorian designed goods. Lesley Crowther, retail manager of the drapers is pictured with some of the clothes. 6th July 1991
