Preston Hall Museum is to receive a rare serving plate made by a Stockton pewterer
Preston Hall Museum is to receive a rare serving plate made by a Stockton pewterer. It is one of the few pieces made for domestic use by Edmund Harvey in the 18th Century. He was better known for his pewter work for churches and he is also believed to have been one of the originators of the Sunday School movement and set up a ragged school for orphans in the town. 20th May 1986
