Going green - thats what Batteyford First School pupils like Andrew Tennett (pictured) have been doing. Thirty-five pupils took part in Sainsburys Green Consumer Day, which aimed to show how large supermarkets are working for the environment. Green products, packaging and recycling were examined. Profits from the stores reusable carrier bags will go to the World Wide Fund for Nature. 24th September 1990
