Three winners of Keep Britain Tidy competitions were rewarded for the litter free ideas
Three winners of Keep Britain Tidy competitions were rewarded for the litter free ideas when they visited Huddersfield fire station. 12 year old Clair Bulmer, of Almondbury, won a competition to " name the bin" run by the group at Almondbury scouts gala day. Paul Chirgwin, 11, of Almondbury, won a slogan competition organized by the Keep Britain Tidy group at the same event. Both youngsters were presented with plaques. Another winner was Jonathan McAllister, 13, of Honley, who was presented with a football signed by Huddersfield Town football - the prize in a similar competition run run during the mayors parade. The children were given a guided tour of the fire station by firemen from white watch, along with parents and previous competition winners.
